The Art Béton Primer is an acrylic latex to be used on all surfaces prior to the Art Béton Coating. It is designed to obtain greater bonding strength on existing surfaces before using the Art Béton Coating.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Increases bonding strength
  • Polymer fortified
  • Quick drying
  • Ready to use (do not dilute with water)

INSTRUCTIONS Support must meet the TTMAC and TCA standards. All surfaces must be dry, structurally sound and free of any contaminant that could affect the bonding (such as wax or sealant), in compliance with the industry standards. Cover all joints with fi breglass jointing tape.

APPLICATION : (Step 1) Shake well before using. Use fibreglass tape on joints to stabilize surfaces. Apply uniformly a thin layer of the primer using a brush or a foam roller. The primer should take about 45 minutes to dry.

Apply a second coat if surfaces are really porous and dry quickly. The primer will form a clear fi lm when dried. Use a fan to accelerate curing time.

The Art Beton Coating can be applied. (Step 2)

CLEANING : Clean tools with water while the Primer is still fresh.
